Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Korean Neurosurgical Society, I would like to welcome all of you to the 62^nd Annual Meeting of the Korean Neurosurgical Society (KNS) which will be held on October 5th-8th, 2022 at Songdo Convensia in Incheon, Korea.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Korean Neurosurgical Society, which began on March 11, 1961. I would like to express my deep respect and gratitude to the former presidents, congress presidents, and advisors of the Society, as well as our 3,415 members, who have made the Korean Neurosurgical Society stand tall throughout the world.

This year we finally hold in-person meeting for celebration the 60th anniversary with all our members which was postponed because of the COVID-19 situation. The theme of this year’s international conference is "A new beginning of One neurosurgery". We have focused to expand and restructure our society to be “ONE” team for the intimate relationship and collaboration. We prepared seminars and various hands-on practical workshops in the fields of neuro-intensive care, minimal invasive spinal surgery, neurovascular surgery, geriatric neurosurgery,
intraoperative neuromonitoring society, and editorial committee of JKNS, including five world-renowned neurosurgeon from CANADA, JAPAN, and USA. so, we ask for active participation from all our domestic members and international members and enjoy Incheon during the most beautiful season of the year.
I sincerely hope you are able to remain healthy and we look forward to welcoming you this year congress in Incheon in-person.
